How fast can I get cover?
The request form is designed to take under a minute. Your preferred educators see the offer first, then verified people nearby. You watch the search live and get a notification the moment it's filled.
How do you check people?
Every educator passes four checks before they can receive an offer: educator registration with the relevant state or territory authority (VIT, NESA, QCT and so on) for educators and early childhood teachers (or ACECQA-approved qualifications for educators, and ES qualifications for support staff), right to work, the current child-safety check for their state (such as a Working with Children Check or Queensland blue card) with a signed child safety declaration, and two professional references reviewed by a recruiter. We re-check before anything expires.
What does it cost?
You pay only for approved hours, at an agreed rate for your school. No lock-in contracts and no sign-up fee. One clear invoice arrives each week, payable by bank transfer or online by card or BECS direct debit.
Are educators employed by I Recruit?
Educators work through I Recruit and are paid weekly through our payroll (Employment Hero), with super paid on time. Talk to our team for the details that apply to your school's sector.
Who do you work with?
Early learning centres, long day care services and kindergartens (including funded Three- and Four-Year-Old Kinder), plus government, Catholic and independent primary and secondary schools. Our Melbourne-based team places educators Australia-wide, in cities, regional towns and remote communities.
Do you cover early learning rooms?
Yes. Centres book by room and age group, set the qualification level (Certificate III, Diploma or ECT) and any shift times, including 6:30am openers and closers. It helps you keep rooms in ratio with fast cover.
